Me and my partner had a wedding party from the wedding on the 23rd of Aug sorry am only just messaging now just got back off honeymoon last night! I just wanted to say u made our day magical you and all the staff have made memories I will never forget honestly from start to finish use were amazing!! I have u a little something here so will drop when I get a chance!! Honestly I can’t thank you enough!! It was a dream come true!! You r truly special at what you do!! We have had nothing but compliments since!! Thanks so much and keep doing what you do!! From the room to the food to the way you completed our day!! VERY, VERY POOR. NOT WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY CHANGED HANDS I had to put 1 star as I couldn't post my review. Pity you can't put a negative star! Don't go, stay or book here, you will be very disappointed and a waste of your money. Changed hands. Foreign family now run the Orrell Park Ballroom. They don't have good manners. We went there for my brothers funeral. Music wasn't appropriate for a funeral. The place was very dark and miserable to what it was when we went there for my dads funeral. There wasn't enough table and chairs to sit down on. We repeatedly had to ask for the buffet to be put out. There was items on the buffet table that we didnt ask for. We specifically asked for just cheese sandwiches with the buffet. He went and made them after we repeatedly asked him to. My mum wasn't very happy. This time my mum didn't get value for money. I don't think we got a good buffet for what we paid. Buffet was very very poor, I don't think he put all the buffet out. Most of the food was foreign. There was a horrible smell in the room. Not wheelchair friendly. If your in a wheelchair and you cant get out, your stuck literally. No ramp for wheelchairs or handrails for others with sticks. I wouldn't recommend the Orrell Park Ballroom to my worst enemy. Go somewhere else. St Monica's Parish Centre is excellent in everything they do. Good Luck
