We came here for dinner yesterday during our visit to Riga. We found this place in a travel guide, and it definitely did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent as well. The restaurant has a lot of history and a unique atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it.

This is one of the few, if not the only restaurant in Riga that was the first to open in the 90's and is still open and has been left largely unchanged since the beginning. And for good reason - their portion sizes and prices are fair, the food menu is excellent (the steak sandwich with dijon sauce and roasted onions is one of the all time classics) and they serve early breakfast with the breakfast menu also being one of the best in town. Cafe Osiris is still popular place for loyal old school actors, poets, writers and all kinds of people to eat, chat & have a drink in a not-too-loud, cozy, minimal, candlelit atmosphere. This place is essential to Riga.
