Not only should The American Toby Jug Museum be visited, but also Oskar. Some clients recommend good whiskey at this bar. The intimate atmosphere of Oskar allows guests to relax after a hard working day. The friendly staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. I’ve lived in Evanston for years and I am confident in saying that this is THE best bar in Evanston—and it’s not even close. The drinks are phenomenal. Oskar does a great job of creating well-balanced classics as well as unique and enjoyable new creations. The staff are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Overall, the vibes are downright fantastic. Try this place out if you haven’t!! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Remarkable Place for Outstanding Cocktails! Very unique cocktails menu (which includes 0% abv options too) that changes every few weeks (some staple one's continue). Interiors have a very European feel. No food options. But one can have some great, uniquely crafted cocktails & head to many restaurants near by. They craft their own inhouse mixers, essential oils to go with the cocktails. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Oskar! After discovering this gem last year summers...been there 5-6 times! Location is great and service is friendly. Ive viaited here a handful of times and every drink I've had is very poorly balanced. Both classics and their signature cocktails are not enjoyable. I encourage the owners to invest in a beverage consultant. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
