The Osteria dal Conte is a really nice restaurant in the middle of Klagenfurt's inner city. It's located in a side street that you won't pass by by chance, but that makes the location even nicer because you're not surrounded by crowds. In summer you can sit comfortably outside and enjoy the cool breeze that blows through the streets. The restaurant conveys an authentic Italian flair. There is a chalkboard with the daily menu written on it. This is carried from table to table and explained to the guests. The dishes range from fish and meat to pasta and salad. The staff is friendly and accommodating and you don't have to wait long for your food. In terms of price, the Osteria dal Conte is in the upper class, but this is definitely made up for by the quality and service. Plus point for being able to pay by card.
