A charming family run Italian restaurant smack in Kollowitzkiez that serves a very grounded menu. The antipasti platter and linguine with seafood made for a lovely dinner with a jug of their hauswein.When not too crowded it makes for a lovely option for a date night. They serve a good range of fish dishes as well which are great for small sharing plates.

Very disapointing.The appetizer (grilled sardines) was nice, but the main dish was unacceptable for the price. We ordered the truffle pasta and the mushroom pasta. The truffle had no taste whatsoever, and the oder dish lacked any type of seasoning. After complaining about the non-existent truffle taste, twice, the bland answer that we go was that nobody complained before us. Seing the others reviews here, this is obviously false... Too bad that no solution was provided. If it's not truffle season, or the truffle is not fresh, please simply don't put it on the menu and charge 18€ for it. Of course, we were not offered any compensation.

Have had four Italian meals in Berlin, and so far Osteria Fiorello is in the lead. The proprietor was very nice and provided excellent service. Delicious bread, olives, salad, and pasta - we tried Lasagne and Ravioli with spinach and ricotta in walnut cream/sage sauce. After all that I was very much looking forward to the Tiramisu, but was disappointed with it. The sponge cake wasn't moist enough and the ladyfingers didn't have any alcohol taste, so there was nothing to "cut" the creamy sensation. Well, I will still go back for the bread and salad, and try another pasta dish.
