My husband and I travel often and often stop in restaurants.... for me it has almost become a nightmare, usual menus, usual services.... today we came across Osteria Mani by chance. As often happens, my husband asks if there is a table for two and if we can bring our puppy with us. We were immediately welcomed with great courtesy and smiles. The owner of the house is a wonderful and friendly woman, the furnishings of the place are from times gone by, cloth napkins combined with the cloth tablecloths. A garden cared for to perfection. I asked to go to the bathroom and I found myself in a very clean bathroom furnished down to the smallest detail. Disposable cloth guest towels. Basically I wasn't in a restaurant but in my home. We took an appetizer for two people, but it could also satisfy four people. A unique flavour, I truly ate with gusto. Impeccable service, courteous and well-mannered staff. For the first time I didn't want to leave. I exchanged a few words with the owner, an intelligent woman, very kind to the point that I would have hugged her!! Everything was perfect from the welcome, the dishes, the simplicity of the place. I highly recommend it, the menu is excellent and plentiful. The prices are fair to the quality of the dishes offered. At the end of lunch a thought, much appreciated by us, the breadcrumbs made by them. Thanks for the welcome and the excellent food. I'll come back very soon.
