The food is excellent, the attention too good a place I recommend if you come to Rome, they are very close to St Peter's Basilica. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30

We stumbled upon PADI just steps from the Vatican and it turned out to be a real gem. The Italian food was absolutely outstanding — everything tasted fresh, authentic, and clearly made with care. Portions were generous and every dish felt like a genuine osteria. Catalana di gamberi and sea bass were finger licking delicious!!! A special mention goes to Amaad, who took care of us throughout the evening. He was attentive, warm, and full of great recommendations — his hospitality made the whole meal feel even more special. If you’re visiting Rome/Vatican and want a proper Italian meal afterward, PADI is well worth the stop. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Rome! Osteria Padi Vaticano is an absolute gem. The food was fantastic—authentic Roman dishes full of flavor and prepared with real care. The place is run by a lovely couple, and their warmth creates a truly family-like atmosphere. It feels like you’re being welcomed into a home rather than just a restaurant.
