A huge shout out to Outlaw BBQ & Catering Market in Spokane. My husband was able to call in the order, had plenty of help with suggestions and they took payment by phone.
When I arrived to pick up, I was greeted and asked if I needed help at least 6 times. All staff had smiling eyes while masked and the guy who helped me get my to-go order, offered to help me to my car enough times I said yes.
We were given tips for traveling with the food and how best to keep it fresh and reheat.
All the tummies and tastebuds appreciated the spread.
The brisket was tender with smoky notes. The pulled pork was moist and tender. The smoked turkey was a hit with Hank. The chicken was no competition for the sausage but stood it’s own next to the rest of the smoky goodness. And, the ribs...
The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the smoky juiciness checked all the boxes.
Sides usually fall flat at bbq places. These didn’t. The mac n’ cheese was like nacho cheese kissed macaroni. The coleslaw was spicy af and the pasta salad had nearly as many jalapeños as pasta. The baked beans were full of smoke flavor and the chili was meaty goodness.
Even the pickles and bbq sauce on the side were spot on.
10/10 recommend Outlaw BBQ in Spokane. They’re top notch and made this little boys pandemic birthday dinner as special as it could be.
