Very mixed feelings about this place. Food is unique enough for something different but I would say although it's in an area considered expensive it's out of the main city so the prices should reflect the same. A tad pricey for what you get. High table seating is uncomfortable and the service can be very slow Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

My First visit to the Outpost and Kitchen after a visit to my optician and new glasses, which was a good job because I needed them to check out what I was served. I ordered a chicken and bacon ciabatta which came smothered with mayo and BBQ sauce and blackened potato crisps, the worse experience ever. The day was saved by a perfect Americano with cream on the side. It was a limited menu, staff pleasant but no food check back. I did leave feedback on leaving and commented someone should speak with the cook. Not sure if I will eat here again but wine selection might be a thought. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Went last night for dinner. Relaxed atmosphere, all very easy. Staff were fabulous, couldnt do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble, and they hit a good balance of making sure we had everything we needed at all times - without being to overbearing. Food was lovely, (would love if you added some deserts) price was reasonable too. Would highly recommend. Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes
