Went down for a root beer milkshake and fries n gravy. Everything was great and excellent service. They also have a fruit loop shake as well, I suggested they try a fruity pebbles shake as that's my fave cereal. Wheelchair accessibility: I have a walker and got through no problemo. Ovaltine Cafe is a Downtown Eastside landmark of Vancouver. Little has changed about the diner since it's opening days. It's like stepping back in time to a classic early 1900's diner. Many movies and television shows are shot there. The food is good, breakfast is their specialty. Moderately priced.
