Right after visiting Kumano Shrine, come here for a meal. The positive aspect of this restaurant is that the staff is knowledgeable. Cool service is something visitors like here. The spectacular atmosphere gladdens people and attracts more clients. As for the Google rating, Ozu earned 4.1.

A friend and I went in April 2024. We were denied entry on a Friday evening for being a foreigner. The owner keeps saying “外国人じゃない” and demanded us to leave the premise. I’m pretty sure it’s all miscommunication since it’s Friday night and they’re expecting crowds staying in longer for drinks, but it could’ve been communicated better. No offense since it’s a small establishment, but do ask if they’re currently overwhelmed to serve foreigners.
