After watching Sosen-ji Temple, have a meal at PAPAYA Akabane. This restaurant serves Thai cuisine. Come here for nicely cooked Tom yum, spicy soup and pad thai if you are hungry.
Most guests consider the staff courteous. If you want to experience spectacular service, you should visit PAPAYA Akabane. It's a good place with the homey atmosphere. But this place hasn't received a high rating from Google users.

The food was Ok but I could tell that it wasn’t prepared by a Thai Chef. The classic SomTom - green Papaya salad was clearly missing essential ingredients like cherry tomatoes, green beans, fresh chilies and had no garnishes such as cabbage leaves and the stuff that’s in all their pictures. MISLEADING MARKETING. I pointed that out to the server who was a very nice guy from Nepal. He chose to argue with me that that’s what it supposed to be like instead of taking it back to the kitchen and fixing it. It was fine for lunch but not excellent.
