Originally, my boyfriend and I came to this restaurant to create content and include it in our vlog because we had heard great things about it. Unfortunately, the experience started off on the wrong foot. As soon as we walked in, before we had even sat down, a staff member (male) immediately said, “Please make sure to throw your drink away before you sit down“ and not in a very nice tone. I was holding a matcha with literally one sip left, which I was obviously about to finish and throw away before ordering food and drinks from the restaurant. The comment felt unnecessary and unwelcoming, especially as the very first interaction we had. Because of that first impression, we decided not to film any content or promote the restaurant anymore. What made it more disappointing was that the same staff member later walked over to the older couple sitting in front of us to ask if everything was okay, but never checked on us once. Maybe we looked younger, but please remember that younger guests deserve the same level of service and attention as everyone else. It’s such a shame because the food was absolutely amazing, and the rest of the staff were lovely. Thank you for the delicious food regardless. I genuinely hope this feedback helps, because we’d love to come back and have a better experience next time.
