A little bit of PAUL in a big beautiful airport. It's very tasty, and the pastries are made right (flaky, crispy layers. You can definitely get some of the regular European PAUL type treats (pain au chocolat), as well as some Japanese style bakery goods (the hotdog comes to mind). They all taste about as good as you can expect from an bakery located in an airport... ...they're just tasty enough to make me wish this was a full PAUL experience, where things are constantly baked fresh and your order arrives in your hands piping hot. It would be even better if you could order some of PAUL's coffee or their delicious mocha too. It's certainly the best pastry you can find in Haneda,, but it's biggest issue it makes me remember how good the full-fat experience can be!
