Came here with my wife for a late lunch snack after an unsuccessful shopping trip to reading (Won't make that mistake again - wither Reading or Paul). We first went to Paul when we lived in Dubai and it had good coffee and nice cakes/pastries. We also went near Paris when at EuroDiscney in a Shopping Mall and it was OK. My wife saw this one and said "Let's try there!" I wasn't keen but we did the visit anyway. The place was fairly empty at around 2 p.m. with 3 students in the back corner who looked like they'd been there for hours. We ordered a Croque Monsieur each. How disappointing! They probably weren't that fresh, had been heated up (on my request) and lacked very much flavour. The two coffees (a Latte and a Capuccino), took a long time to appear by which time the Croques had cooled down. I'd hate to see how slow service would have been if the place was busy. The coffee was pretty tastless and tepid. A not to be repeated experience at a cost of over £21. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I usually enjoy the atmosphere in Paul reading and I have been using the student discount several times, today I ask the waiter to apply for the discount she refused and didn’t accept to ask her colleagues if there is a student discount or not..it’s really bothered me and making me unwanted to come back
