If you like Vietnamese cuisine, then this restaurant is worth checking out. Don't forget to enjoy perfectly cooked Bbq pork, egg rolls and oxtail at Pholicious. This place is known for delicious wine. You will appreciate great bubble tea, vietnamese coffee or iced coffee at this place.
Food delivery is a big plus of this spot. Most guests mention that the staff is nice. Cool service is something clients agree upon here. Based on the visitors' opinions, prices are adequate. Have you tried "Kobe Beef" yet? Are you someone who enjoys meat? The quality of the meat at this place is truly exceptional. Even if you're vegetarian, you won't be disappointed; they offer fresh and crunchy purple basil, bean sprouts, and hot pepper slices. Don't forget to order some egg rolls—they're a must-have! Went to this place after a nearby pho place was closed. The star rating wasn't appealing at first, but once you get sat down, you ask yourself how it got such a low rating. The food was absolutely delicious! The side veggies were plentiful and so fresh. The pho broth was full-bodied and flavorful. The amount of proteins was perfect. The egg rolls were authentic. Just wish there were 4 instead of 3! The atmosphere was clean and inviting! The service is excellent. We were immediately brought menus, checked on if everything was good, even the chef in back came out to talk to others dining there! The two ladies working up front were super helpful and offered us help splitting the 3rd eggroll by bringing scissors . I'm so distraught from visiting Pholicious Restaurant not even an half hour ago, (10585 Slater Ave 4 A, Fountain Valley, CA 92708) that I decided to yelp my experience right away. Let's start off with my first experience with Vietnamese food. Pho Saigon Pearl in Costa Mesa, was my very first time eating it. The first time, I ordered the garlic noodles with pork/beef and shrimp spring rolls, the meal was expensive and not to my liking personally, but decided to give them another try due to an overall good experience. The 2nd time was the charm! I had a side of steamed veggies with pho chicken and broth. It was absolutely delicious along with the best broth ever in fact, but the prices are still pretty steep, so over time, I started visiting other Vietnamese restaurants to find food equally as delicious, especially the pho/broth, however less expensive. On one of such recent visits come along Pholicious. Now I've passed this restaurant at least 30 + times in the past couple of years. After reading the reviews, satisfied that today is the day I will order Pho from them. The beef stew pho was choose along with a mango smoothie (a personal favorite). When I received the food, opened it up, was surprised to see the noodles in an hard ball, added some of the stew juice to try and loosen it up. As for the stew, it was about 4 pieces of carrots, a few onions and straight oil from the beef, thick oil. All oil. As for the meat, it was three small chunks of untasteful beef, (a taste test worth size) and its mostly fat, along with chunks of literal FAT, hence, "oil stew". The mango smoothie was the blandest one I ever tasted ever. I will not ever purchase from this restaurant again. Yelp, you let me down this time. $15.23 of pure nasty!
