I recently visited Pico Bakehouse with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was a mixed bag. While the ambiance was cozy and inviting, the coffee was a letdown - it lacked depth and flavor, tasting somewhat bland. On the pastry front, I was underwhelmed by their croissants. Having had the pleasure of trying Antonas' croissants previously, I couldn't help but compare the two. Antonas' croissants are flakier, butterier, and overall superior in texture and taste. While Pico Bakehouse has its charm, it falls short in the areas that matter most to me - good coffee and great pastries. Perhaps they'll revamp their menu or improve their brewing techniques in the future. Until then, I'd recommend Antonas for a truly exceptional croissant experience.
