We learned about Pikapolonca in early 2023. While we're from Slovenia, a family member lives in Japan. For his birthday, we decided to send him sweet Slovenian treats from Pikapolonca (Kyoto) to another city in Japan, where he is staying. We contacted the owner(s) directly and got a very pleasant response. They were quick and glad to help us with our order and payment process, as most things were in Japanese and so inaccessible to us. The desserts were cold-delivered on the exact day we agreed on, were handled correctly, and came in a beautiful packaging with a birthday card. The family member was very happy with the desserts and complimented them. Due to our satisfaction with the service and general helpfulness and friendliness of the owners, we ordered desserts for the family member once more this year. The whole process was even smoother than last year, and the member was once again very pleased with the quality and taste of the desserts. We are very happy to have ordered from Pikapolonca and will do so again in the future. Meal type: Other Food: 5 Service: 5
