Pitou is located inside the famous Golden Gai area. The entrance is very small, and if you walk too fast it’s easy to miss it. It feels a little different from many of the other bars around it, although like most places in Golden Gai, it is also very small. I think it’s important to keep that in mind before visiting. The service is excellent, and they speak English, which made the experience very comfortable. They specialize in Japanese natural wines. It is not a cheap place, but considering it is wine from small-production regions, the prices felt understandable to me. I had the opportunity to try around four different wines, and honestly all of them were very good. We have visited twice already and always recommend it to friends. I’m pretty sure that when we return to Tokyo, we will visit again. Price per person: ¥6,000–7,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Best bar in Golden Gai hands down. Owner is phenomenal and had great wine options, beer, and sake. Even let us request our own music!
