Great experience, good food, excellent service. Cars and coffee every Sunday morning 8-10 am really hits the spot for every automotive enthusiast. Not just coffee. Highly recommend the blueberry muffins! Did I mention the blueberry muffins yet? You should come get one and judge for your self one of the best around. Since opening Lore and Kenia have been amazing! Their customer service, personalities and heart is what keeps me coming back! I live in the neighborhood and our quick chats at the drive thru keeps my day going! Please give these ladies big kudos because they are amazing! We experienced the Opening Day jitters which I expected. The reason this is a 4 star and not a 5 star review is a very easily corrected problem. My Peppermint Bark Mocha just needed stirring and then it was perfect! Overall, the atmosphere is bright, clean and welcoming. The blended Caramel Granita was insane good. I was OBSSESSED with the handcrafted coffee mugs from New Orleans! I bought the green one in the video and already love it. The BEIGNETS.... I was born and raised in a Louisiana Cajun family so I will say the beignets are very good and as close to Big Easy beignets as we are getting here in Jax. So delicious! My 6 year old is already planning how many we are getting next visit. Flavorless coffee? No, it was just at the bottom of the cup. I was a Bar Certified Master Barista for the most famous coffeehouse chain and I would put the syrups in the cup first, melt it with the shots of espresso, swirl and then pour in steamed milk, ect. so it all mixes evenly. I have complete faith that the Baristas-in-training will pick up on the complaints of flavorless first sips and correct it. Conclusion: I can't wait to go back for the Butter Rum Latte and Cinnamon Roll! The staff was nice, positive and smiling. As first impressions go... I will be back. Welcome to the neighborhood, PJ's Coffee! P.s. Baristas! Don't be afraid to really shout out those orders/names. It will help service times. See you tomorrow!
