I have heard great things about their beignets therefore I had to give it a try. The location was clean. The staff were informative and patient, the service was fast and great. The beignets tasted good Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was never a fan of this place but I live next door and it’s convenient. I usually come in and grab something quick with my dog. Today, I come in and grab a parfait with my dog and wait in line. I set the parfait on the counter and wait to be checked out. The black woman is at the register doesn’t look up at me so she doesn’t see my parfait. When she asks me what I would like I point to my parfait. I figured it was a regular interaction but then I hear her mumble something under her breath. In which I reply “what” because I’m confused. She still hasn’t checked me out by the way. Like, I’m waiting her. She then says “Damn, we can’t talk this morning.” Mind you, I said “no” twice that I didn’t want anything else. What type of person gets mad that a customer isn’t speaking. What if I was non-verbal. She says she’s the manager too if that helps. I won’t be back. Disappointing and rude woman. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I highly recomend PJ's Coffee as the beignets are free, coffee is premium Nawlins quality and the staff are amazing. I love the art. ambiance, and opportunity to get a taste of my hometown of Nawlins in downtown Silver Spring. Be sure to tip those wonderful Baristas as they are worth it! S/O to the Operators!
