I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant one late morning & I was very fortunate. Immediately impressed upon entering the cute restaurant. The chef spent some time in Italy studying & cooking Italian food. It is superbly evident in his delicious cooking. His friendly & sweet wife serves delicious food. Everything here is so fresh & clean. No salt is added. I have since returned with a colleague, and we both love it here. If you ever visit Kurume, I highly suggest stopping by. The menu is reasonably priced for any travelers, and the local patrons are friendly to see & chat with, if you'd like. Thank you so much, Porta Rossa .
