This place was sooo good! I've been trying all different kinds of jamon iberico while in Spain and this place takes that cake! They carve it right in front of you and it's just fresh. It's worth the extra 2€ to get meat from the leg. My favorite spot of cava baja.

They're not going to baby you here if you're a tourist. We went at 9:30 and as we finished we saw more people were seated. Local folks and they were nicely dressed. Men wearing collared and nicely ironed shirts, many wore sports coats, women wearing chic outfits and makeup. We were handed a menu in Spanish. We are fluent but there were some items we used Google for. The beef cheeks were tender. Amazing. The green salad was fresh and lightly dressed in olive oil. A glass of wine for $3.50. I loved dining amongst the beautiful people of Madrid.
