I was really disappointed by the way my friend was treated here on Saturday, 29 August 2026, at around 1:10pm. I was accompanying my family friend, who is a man in a wheelchair who has intellectual disability and physical disabilities. We were looking for somewhere shaded, and accessible to enter for him to sit and eat his lunch quickly before we had to leave, as there were no available public tables nearby. I politely asked what appeared to be a teenage female staff member whether we could sit at one of the tables so I could help him eat. I made it clear that we weren’t intending to purchase anything. The staff member checked with what appeared to be the manager. She looked around 40-50, her hair was about to her shoulders and was in a pony tail. She said no because they don’t let people eat other food at their restaurant and escorted us out. I understand that a business can have its own rules regarding who can use its tables. However, I found the way this situation was handled extremely lacking in compassion, particularly given the circumstances and context. We weren’t causing any disruption — we simply needed somewhere for a person in a wheelchair with additional needs to sit while having his lunch. At the time, there were only around three customers in the café and the café was close to closing. We only needed to sit for a short period of time. We ended up going to the Thai restaurant directly across the road, where the staff were completely understanding and allowed him to sit and eat without any issue. About 20 minutes later when my friend had finished his lunch, Pacino’s cafe was closing. It’s not necessarily the fact that we were told no that disappointed me most; it was the complete lack of understanding and kindness shown towards someone who clearly was disabled. A little compassion and consideration would have gone a long way, particularly when accommodating him for a short period to eat his sandwich would have had no impact on the business. Especially because the cafe was close to empty and was about to close. I hope the person who made this decision considers how an interaction like this can affect people with disabilities and the people supporting them. Also, how interactions like this can affect how people view your business. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I would now feel uncomfortable bringing my non-disabled friends to this café as well. Grace. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hi Grace thanks for that info but our staff did exactly what they have been trained to do.Patrons cannot bring food or drink that is not purchased from our cafe. And the fact that you even stated to our staff upon entry that you will not be eating or drinking at our cafe & that you just wanted to use our tables is a ridiculous request anyway.Thank you for that useless review

I visited here today for the first time. I'll checked out the reviews first, as I normally do. Everyone was so positive in their reviews. I went there with my son. I ordered a breakfast burger with bacon, egg, cheese, hashbrown on a soft bun. It was really good and there was plenty of fillings. I ended up sharing some with my son. I also had a flat white. It was served up nice and hot. The staff were friendly. My food and drink were served up fast. There was plenty of seating and easy access to from the ample parking behind the shops. A short walk down the path to Pacino's Cafe was perfect for a lovely Saturday breakfast with my son.
