Unable to understand how this place collects good reviews, for sure something seems awry. We had decided to dine here based on a recommendation.
Pros: Gentleman (owner) was very nice and friendly, wait staff was very friendly
Cons:
1) Food was bland (literally bland)
2) Mediocre level of spices
3) Expensive didn't match the taste
4) Malai Kofta for 30 dollars (we were asked to order and not apprised of the ripoff prices)
Last but not the least, the gentleman (owner) recommended a certain kind of fish but I believe (his wife) dissuaded us from ordering the fish since they didn't know how to plate it (???? makes no sense), and recommended an alternative dish. Even the waiter seemed perplexed when I told him that we were told not to order that fish (paturi) because they didnt know how to plate
- This particular fish, had a rancid smell, tasted disgusting, inedible and should not have been served. Later on we realized they offloaded their supply of stale fish.
My take; avoid this place, not only have I decided to never dine at this place, I have shared my experience with my coworkers in the area.
Eat at your own risk. Avoid at all costs
