We visited this absolutely sublime GEM of a find on Friday June 19th 2026. Situated just opposite a bustling friendly public house (The Tramway) and with a Co-Op store just behind it (which is useful and will be explained). We attended as a party of 6. Four adults and two children (9) & (14). There was another table of 4 adults and another 2 ladies dining. This created a vibrant buzz and jovial interactive atmosphere. Craig and Laura (the patrons) literally couldn’t do enough for us. The service was first class and both infinitely welcoming and immeasurably professional without losing the family run intimacy that only independent outlets, such like can provide. The food was sensational and incredibly varied from their delectable Tapas menu. Fresh seafood sourced locally consisting of Crab, Salmon, Mackerel, Prawns, whitebait and more Homemade Curry that was beyond authentic cuisine and BBQ Ribs that a true Texan would have been proud of. There was literally too much tantalising food to list. Whilst they don’t have an alcohol license. This is circumvented by the allowance of parties bringing their own at an incredibly reasonable corkage of just £5 per table! Furthermore, any cold beverages will be whisked away for you and kept refrigerated upon your arrival. As earlier stated, Laura literally couldn’t do enough for us and was exceedingly attentive. In addition, my mention of the Co-Op being a stone’s through away makes it enormously convenient for a pre-arrival drinks run. Craig clearly has a passion for his culinary vocation and a skill set that would compliment Michelin starred restaurants that I have experienced with a contrasting varied menu that is vast but holds both quality in equilibrium with quantity! We will definitely be visiting the Pakefield Pantry on our next trip to Lowestoft! Thank you for a wonderful memorable evening with exceptional cuisine. Best wishes Greig & Linda from Essex Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section
