First time I've been in about 6 years. Still a great Indian in St Helens and reliable. The staff are really nice, welcoming and did a great job at making it a special meal. The chicken Tikka Masala and chicken korma are hands down the most flavourful curries I've had in a long time. The rice and naan are great too. The onion bhajis were a let down. You get 3 very small bhajis which were quite dry and hard. Not the best, especially for the price you pay. We paid £50.90 for 4 cold soft drinks, 6 poppadoms and chutneys, a starter, 2 mains, a rice and a naan bread. So overall a little pricey but not too bad. Excellent atmosphere and delicious food. The staff are very friendly, helpful and pleasant. I would strongly recommend Palace Balti & Tandoori Restaurant for anyone who like curry.
