Paladares Tulum is one of those rare places you stumble upon and immediately feel lucky you did. Low-key and unpretentious, it offers an elevated take on Tulum’s culinary creativity while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. The team was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the entire experience feel personal and unrushed. I started with a Falernus cocktail—sweet, tangy, and perfectly balanced. It set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. The burnt avocado caught me off guard in the best way—smoky, rich, and totally unique. I was initially skeptical, but it turned out to be one of the highlights. The peanut-infused scallops was another bold and surprisingly harmonious dish, and the ribeye—juicy and tender—rounded everything out with a satisfying finish. To top it all off, Alex treated us to some mezcal to end our last night in Tulum. It was a generous and memorable gesture that really captured the spirit of the place.
