We wanted to treat ourselves to a nice dinner as a family. We first looked at the menu on the outside and my kids noticed the 1st place advertisement for My Local Your Local by Kabel Eins on the menu. So we assumed what was served was good food. What surprised us a bit was that we were the only guests in the Palais Restaurant in Erfurt. As a joke, Dad asked the waiter, "What kind of food did you scare away all the guests with?" Somehow I felt like I was being ripped off by the 1st place advertisement at My Local Your Local, because the food was terrible. What use is a beautifully prepared beef roulade to me if it is completely dry and tough with a little bacon and a small piece of pickled cucumber, resting on a bed of sour red cabbage, and the watery sauce was served in a small sauce tureen. At least the potato dumplings were soft. My daughter had ordered Pasta Napoli, after the third bite the fun was over because she spat out an approx. 5 cm piece of wood, the shape of a toothpick. They explained to us that it was the stem of a rosemary sprig, which had turned quince yellow while we were cooking with us, so that the food was returned. I also had the waiter take it off the bill, and they went away smoothly assuming that we were still eating my daughter's food pay. The steak meat in the burger was also tough like shoe leather, not to mention the schnitzel with seasoned meat was also dry. In my rating, each meal would have received a maximum of one point. Either you adorn yourself with someone else's feathers or the cook has failed in his job. It had been a disappointing evening in the Palais Restaurant, the kids could hardly calm down on the way to our hotel. Service: 3 Location: 5
