Last meal before I had to head to airport. Located only about half a mile away from my hotel, I took an uber because I was not about to be cold with the drizzle. It’s hard to miss them as they’re right as soon as you enter the Chinatown arch. They also happen to be inside The Hoxton. It was closer to closing time and they were running low on the pork belly so I got the tosilog. I originally wanted to get the fish. I also got an order of the lumpia. For bevs I got the calamansi soda and their coffee. That pork belly was something. It’s clearly a best seller. The eggs were runny as I prefer. I super loved the vinegar dipping sauce. 10/10 vibes I really liked the layout and colorful decor. I noticed there was a bar, but no bartender. It would’ve been clutch to have a mimosa. Went for lunch with a friend and absolutely loved the Manok Sando. The pandesal bread was fluffy and rich, chicken was well seasoned and crispy, the pickles were excellent too. The adobo gravy was a bit salty, but that was expected since dipping anything in gravy is bound to be salty. The server brought me all 3 sauces (habanero, sriracha, and fish sauce) which were nice to drizzle on. My friend got the pancakes which were sweet, but not too sweet— ideal. The ube was radiating though! Very nice interior. I came here with a group for drag brunch and it was so fun! The chicken sando could’ve used some seasoning (ex. salt, garlic) but the crispy potatoes and gravy were delicious. Will definitely be back if they do drag brunch regularly. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
