The new Brisket entree was tender and melted in my mouth. The Kung Pao was fresh the employees were at their best. I prefer this Panda over others in the area Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Food portions were abysmal at best. The wait time for cooked food was too long for this chain. The lines were chaotic as well. The food was also bland and lacked virtually all sauces, particularly for dishes that typically have sauce. Normally, I love Panda Express, but this location was disappointing, to say the least. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

This happened about two years ago at panda, I ordered a two-side meal at this panda. The young lady serving me gave me noticeably less food than the men in front of me who had ordered the same meal. When I politely asked if I could have a little more to match the portions they received, she replied, “Do you want that to be another side?” At the time, I was upset, but I didn’t say anything. Looking back, I regret staying silent because it didn’t feel right. We were paying the same price, yet receiving very different portions. What bothered me most was the feeling that I was expected to eat less simply because I am a woman. We paid the same amount of money, so why should the portion be different? Why should a woman’s money be worth less when it comes to the food she receives? What makes this experience even more frustrating is that the unfair treatment came from another woman. The young lady was willing to give larger portions to male customers, but when I asked for a similar portion, I was made to feel as though I should pay extra for it. Maybe the difference in portions was not intentional, but that was how it felt to me. It wasn’t just about the food—it was about being treated differently despite paying the same price. As a woman, I found it especially disappointing that this treatment came from another woman. I know this happened years ago, but it left a lasting impression on me, and I still haven’t forgotten it. I’m grateful that Google Reviews gives customers a place to share experiences they weren’t able to speak up about at the time. I wasn’t brave enough to say something then, but I’m saying it now.
