Panda Express used to be one of my favorite quick-service restaurants. The food was consistently fresh, flavorful, and tasted much better than it does today. Over the years, it seems like the recipes have changed. The food now feels more processed and less authentic, with flavors that sometimes come across as overly manufactured or chemical compared to what Panda Express used to serve. The other major issue is the Tooele location itself. The restaurant is simply too small for the demand. It feels like it can only comfortably accommodate about 20 people, and during busy lunch and dinner hours, the line often stretches out the door. While there are a few tables available for dine-in customers, they're frequently surrounded by people waiting in line to order or pick up food, making it difficult to enjoy a meal inside. As a result, it functions more like a takeout location than a dine-in restaurant. The staff generally do a good job handling the crowds, but the facility is undersized for a growing community like Tooele. Panda Express should stop squeezing customers into a tiny storefront and invest in a proper freestanding restaurant with more seating, better traffic flow, and a drive-thru.
