Ordered on UberEats - restaurant was advertised as open. Ordered food on collection and walked in the rain for 20 minutes to collect my food. When I arrived to the restaurant, the placed was closed and locked up even though the order had been accepted. I contacted uber support, I have now been advised that the order was collected and I cannot be refunded over £20. I know uber support have to contact the restaurant and you have advised you served a meal at a time you were closed so this was impossible. Really really let down - this was my local, ‘go to’ Chinese and evidently it isn’t an honest place anymore. Will never be returning. New response - hi, no the order was never sorted, I never received my food and just lost money. Uber told me there was nothing they will do as I received my food? Truly disappointed, how the customer loses out on being provided false info. Order number #3288F Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1

We tried this place recently as our usual takeaway was unexpectedly closed - wow, what a pleasant surprise! Firstly, the customer service was just wonderful. The lady we spoke to on the phone when we ordered was really nice and friendly. We ordered for collection, and whilst on our way we got a phone call to say that our food was ready earlier than expected - a nice touch. We collected and the food was lovely - everything about our experience of using this takeaway was absolutely fantastic! Honestly, I couldn't recommend this place enough.
