I love Panera Bread's food, but I am very disappointed about their cup policy. As someone who cares deeply about the environment and tries to avoid using single-use plastics, I asked the workers for a paper cup for water and they refused to give me one. They would only allow me to use the plastic cups, which are the exact same size as the paper cups. Even after I explained my concern for the environment to the manager, they refused to give me a paper cup. I am extremely disappointed that in 2024, Panera Bread still has not made the choice to prioritize the environment. Catch up to the times! Your consumers want more sustainable options. Make it a priority!
