Cutest bakery in Kagoshima We stumbled upon it on our first day, and the staff were so friendly. The owner couple recognized us a few days later on the street. Great for a light breakfast. There is a bench outside the shop where you can sit and eat briefly. They also have seasonal ingredients on some of the bread which is fun! I stopped by once the day before yesterday and twice yesterday. I love eating bread for meals. I'm a picky eater, a person who appreciates hearty, comforting, yet delicious bread. I came from Korea and really wanted to go. My first visit was late in the afternoon, when they ran out of bread, and my second time, I went back because I ran out of cash. I stopped by yesterday before heading to the airport, and oh my... it was so delicious. The 'panis set' which you can bite a little bit of some campagne and sour dough showcased the chef's expertise. The "Grace of the Field" bread, grown pesticide-free by the chef's father, is just my style. It has a mild, healthy flavor. I could only buy two due to budget constraints. I'd love to visit every day for a month. It's one of my top three memories from Kagoshima. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
