My group wanted to eat in two popular restaurants nearby but one was closed for a break and the other a long queue. We had time constraint (as we are part of a tour) so we decided to give Rota a chance. We’re glad we did! The food was good. We ordered cevapi, beef and chicken shish kebab. The cevapi was tender and the flatbread with it was surprisingly savory. We think the lady grilled it with the juices coming from the meat. The bread was served warm which was quite inviting. The beef kebab was just okay, tasty, although not so tender as the cevapi. Chicken shish kebab, was good and slightly better than its beef counterpart. You pay extra for additional cream cheese/ garlic sauce. Cash only. The owner does not accept euros in centavo denominations.
