Unfortunately, a really disappointing experience. We paid €10 each for an Aperol Spritz with nothing included, compared to €5 elsewhere in Rome where we also got bruschetta, olives and crisps. The main issue was when paying. The waiter asked if I wanted to leave a tip, I said no, and was then told I had to pay it. It was actually a 10% surcharge, only mentioned in tiny writing at the bottom of the menu. When I questioned it, the waiter became quite aggressive and he and the manager then discussed me in Italian, assuming I couldn’t understand them — I could. It was only €2, so the money wasn’t the issue. It was the way it was handled and the attitude when we questioned it. Easily our most disappointing experience in Rome. TOURIST TRAP - DO NOT RECOMMEND

We had the ravioli (with butter and sage) and the basil and tomato toast. Everything was incredible. Tomatoes were red and ripe. The ravioli were homemade and excellent. I read some of the reviews and was originally worried. My wife convinced me to go with my gut, and I did! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our first evening in Rome and we had a delicious dinner at Ristorante Panzirone, the food was excellent with great service and a very reasonable price in an ideal location in Piazza Navona which has great views. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30
