Good restaurant...probably our favorite while in the Monteagle area for a few days. Everything we tried was good. The staff were very friendly and check on us regularly. Our group had our 4 young grandkids. The crayons and paper tablecloths were great at keeping them busy until we ate. I would definitely recommend Papa Ron's to anyone who is in the area. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My chicken piccata was delicious, as was my daughter‘s lobster bisque, and my son’s fettuccine Alfredo. However, the service was incredibly slow. We had to go and search up a waitress 3 times to take our order. It was a busy restaurant, but not overly so — only half full when we arrived. However, we waited at least 15 minutes to have our order taken and then another 30 to 40 for our food to arrive. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Good Italian food with great service in a nice little spot. I've made many visits to Monteagle, TN and I like to always make this a stop when on road trips travelling to other locations. Monteagle really packs a lot of great spots into a relatively small footprint. Several locals told us a must visit restaurant in Monteagle, TN is Papa Ron’s Italian Steakhouse so if you are looking for the best places for Tennessee food and want to eat where the locals eat this is one great spot. Even though Monteagle is a small town this is a nice restaurant with a really nice ambiance. Papa Ron’s Italian Steakhouse definitely offers some of the best Italian food of any Tennessee restaurants I have eaten at so far. In my experience Monteagle, TN can really punch above its weight for such a small town as it there are some good restaurants here serving really great food in the area. While I really enjoyed my Italian food here I still haven't had a chance to sample the steak yet but I look forward to a future visit to rectify that issue. Overall this is a really great spot to enjoy some Italian food along with the natural beauty of this area.
