First time ordering from Papa's Fish & Chips. I was encouraged by the 4.4-star rating, but I wish I'd read the reviews first. We placed our order at around 9:00 pm, but the delivery took well over an hour. It didn't even leave the restaurant until after 10:00 pm, when the restaurant had already closed. I raised the issue with Just Eat and only received a partial refund. The food was extremely disappointing. The saveloy was so overcooked it was hard and rubbery. I took one bite and had to spit it out. The chips were by far the worst I've ever had. Half looked like old chips that had been reheated multiple times, while the other half were pale, undercooked, and soaked in oil. None of it was edible, and it all ended up in the bin. Overall, this was a complete waste of money and a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering from here again.
