Our second visit to Paper Daisy didn’t disappoint! The atmosphere, food and service were all great. We loved that they don’t rush you off your table. The price point is high $150+ per head for lunch inc drinks and sides, but we felt it was worth it for the quality of the meal and venue. The venue is quite nice and very well decorated. Service: It took a while on all occasions to get staff attention to order drinks in the beginning. After being seated we waited 20 minutes for a drink to arrive and an additional 1hr 30min for our mains to arrive after order. Waiter was asked to check on service. Food: Food was average. Spoke with other guests who were quite vocal in their similar experience also. It was a 2 course menu with additional sides and entree. I asked to be excused from my guest to remove a distasteful piece of my entree from my mouth. The octopus was a gelatinous, chewy, cold mess. Oysters were presented warm and were not shucked to seperate the membrane from the shell. Quite difficult to eat. Drinks: Finger lime margarita was quite bitter and sour. I wouldn’t order again. Experience: Overall experience I would say I wouldn’t return. The general experience didn’t have a vibe that suited our taste. A very regimented feel inside, seated very close to other guests if you’re a party of 2, and the service was slow. Price per person: A$200+
