$30 CAD for an octopus platter (protein, rice, two pickled salads and a bit of lettuce). $20 CAD for a pizza. Platter had an incredibly small amount of protein. They had a wood fired pizza oven in operations but they didn't seem to use it because the crust of the pizza was not crisp at all (also we saw that they did not use it), soggy meats. Poor quality overall. The server kept trying to up sell (I asked for rice and beans for my kid, he suggested garbanzo beans which were 3x price, suggested the house pizza instead of the one I had selected). Supply chain could be the issue for quality? There was "no electricity" on the day of our visit but the speakers were operational so unclear about that. Our table was overrun by flies (the dining area is outside). It's a quiet location off the main street and the staff seemed somewhat concerned for our poor experience. Paying $85+ CAD for 3 people for lunch in Cuba is too much (we also had 1 water, 2 pop and 1 beer), in my opinion - definitely for the quality we got. I'm very sad for this restaurant. Unfortunately our experience there was the main, representative experience of the town that we had. Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
