I would not recommend this place to anyone. The owner constantly stands over the staff, shouting at them across the terrace, creating a very uncomfortable atmosphere. He came across as rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in customer service. Rather than caring about guests or providing a good experience, he seemed far more interested in taking advantage of tourists. There are plenty of much better places nearby where you’ll be treated with respect and actually enjoy your visit. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Worst place ever. Rovinj is the most beautiful place with the most incredible places with amazing staff, this was not it. Horrible service, horrible boss who just screams and screams. One poor server who actually was good that boss was just rude to all the time. Stayed for a solid ten minutes and that's ten minutes I will never get back. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I travel to Rovinj every year, and one of the highlights of my visit is dining at Papiga Restaurant. I always look forward to enjoying their outstanding seafood, especially the truffle pasta made with local truffles from the region. The service is consistently excellent, the restaurant is impeccably clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. They truly make you feel like royalty from the moment you arrive. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
