We went to the PappaRich outlet at Park Street for lunch on Sunday (14th June) and one of the dishes ordered was the Kampung fried rice because it was one of my favourites. Halfway through the dish, as I was eating the second chicken satay, I noticed the chicken was pink in the middle (it was completely raw). I showed it to my family as well just to double check and then we called the waiter. He looked at the chicken and without a word, took it to the kitchen and looked as if he was going to get me a replacement. I assumed this because at this point also he didn't say a word - I called out to him and said I don't want a replacement as I was completely put off by the food by this time. Again, without saying anything he went and stood at a side and watched as the others continued to finish their food. When the bill came, we noticed a 15% discount on the entire bill. The waiter said the 15% discount was given because of the uncooked chicken and then I pointed out that it should be at least the total cost of the dish, as the 15% discount did not come up to the cost of the dish. The exact words of the waiter was 'waradda piligaththa, discount eka dunna' very matter of factly and with quite an attitude as if I was at fault. I got very ticked off and called this out and said no one from Papparich even came to apologize because at the end of the day I would be the one potentially suffering from food poisoning by consuming raw chicken. He stood and listened and just went to punch in the bill. To the Papparich management: Give your staff proper training on how to speak to customers and how to behave in these sort of situations. It would have been common courtesy for the restaurant manager to apologize and explain the situation, and then say this is the discount offered. Of course, no manager came by to speak as well. The entire situation was handled poorly by the staff at PappaRich. Meal type: Lunch

We had haianese chicken rice, seafood laksa and a kind if noodles. We really liked the food and Milo dinosaur was the crowd favorite. Service was super and the wait time was not long. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: Rs 2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
