My scone was delicious, and service was quick. However they seemed understaffed, made evident by how rushed and frantic the girl working the breakfast counter was. She was singlehandedly taking orders, making coffee drinks, assembling orders, and cashing customers out. She was very polite and quick, but because she was rushing around so much, she became careless. As a result my coffee drink was WAY too sweet. Along with the scone and coffee, I ordered a quiche and fruit combo. The quiche was obviously microwaved, making it soggy and overheated. The fruit was 90% honeydew and cantaloupe with a few pieces of pineapple. I paid $13 for my meal and really only enjoyed the scone. I would suggest that management schedule a more sufficient staff to help prevent avoidable mistakes and improve the quality of service and products. The place has a lot of promise with its location in such a large space. They just need to strive to make the food and experience worth the price and worthy of the name.

PB is the equivalent of Home Depot but for kind of enjoyable food. First, the staff this morning was like "register? what register?" and they don't have stanchions to guide you to the next available cashier (waitress? server?) so you stand with a line of other people jockeying to make an order. Staff were not enjoying the job and certainly not the line of coffee and mediocre bakery needers in line with me. Like at Home Depot the staff hate you for asking questions or for support. I ordered the croissant with egg, ham, and cheese. They use a microwave to melt the swiss which does a nice job of turning the croissant into a wet mess. My son tried the Asiago cheese bagel and did not finish (big kid is a goat). Sometimes I want something well known to just get in and out, other times I'm willing to try something outside of the chain....if you have the option try something outside of the chain.

Well, you better know what you are doing. I have never been to this place and I was little confused and misguided. I asked for the artichoke sandwich and the soup that was posted on the sign at the front. He wrote it on my ticket, I assumed he wrote down the soup part too. As I stood there for a salad they handed me my half sandwich while I still waited in line. As soon I got to the cashier she rang me up...almost $9 for a very small salad and sandwich. The sandwich was mediocre and the salad not well assembled by Maxi, whom by the way looked absolutely miserable at her job. Not one smile or acknowledgment. The customer before me even said, "Thank you Maxi" once she finished her salad, but did Maxi look up and and acknowledge her...nope. Just stood there looking miserable. Regardless, when I told the man I wanted the soup at the very beginning, not once did he say, "okay make sure to let them know once you get to the soup bar", I mean it's confusing, because it looks like he's writing my order down on the paper, but apparently they just write your sandwich down? Once I was rang up, I was confused as to why I hadn't received my soup yet and why the woman took my number. My friend has also had a bad experience there as far as customer service. The food is okay, but over priced for the quality. It takes A LOT for me to write a review on an establishment. You either have to be REALLY good or REALLY bad. As a manager of my own department, I would make sure to pull a certain employee to the side and coach them on the value of customer service, a hello and smile can go a long way.
