We came here after the Culecos during Carnival and I asked what the best dishes were, and they recommended: Garlic shrimp, Charcoal chicken, Garlic clams. The clam sauce was buttery, garlicky, well-balanced, and perfectly seasoned. We ordered extra bread because it was THAT good. The shrimp was amazing. The patacones were even better. My friend LOVED her pollo asado (charcoal chicken), which came with smashed yuca sticks (different from whole yuca). It’s just the owner and his wife cooking, but it’s absolutely worth the wait.
