With its excellent location at the gates of Nuremberg's old town & in the immediate vicinity of Nuremberg Central Station, the Park Plaza Nuremberg offers a total of 177 rooms & suites in a contemporary & modern design. As part of the Radisson Hotel Group, Park Plaza promises to create unforgettable moments in a stylish ambience with its inspiring service. I stayed in a junior suite on the top floor of the hotel with an area of 56 square meters & equipped with a comfortable king-size bed, a closet, a large flat-screen TV, a desk & a sitting area. Upon arrival I received a bottle of wine, two bottles of water & some sweet & salty treats. The large skylights offered a wonderful view of the train station & the entrance to the old town. The bathrooms feature large rain showers & washbasins, integrated toilets, towel warmers, scales & care products by the British luxury brand ELEMIS. The Bavarian American Bar serves excellent Bavarian whiskeys, wines & cocktails inspired by Nuremberg. Formerly known as the American Bavarian Hotel, the hotel once housed the participants for the Reichsparteitag in the city, the judges of the Nuremberg Trials after the Second World War & later US officers. In the Travertine Room a breakfast buffet with bread rolls, spreads, cold cuts, cheese, smoked salmon, yoghurt, juices, muesli, fresh fruit & warm dishes is offered every morning. Freshly prepared egg dishes are also served à la carte on request. The Park Plaza Nuremberg boasts state-of-the-art meeting & event facilities including seven fully equipped meeting rooms with a flexible meeting space of 256 m² for up to 70 people. In the basement of the hotel guests find a well-equipped fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment & a Finnish sauna with a small, cozy relaxation area, showers & free water. Thanks to its central location, modern & clean facilities as well as friendly service the Park Plaza Nuremberg is one of the best starting points to explore the city & relax in a cozy atmosphere after a busy day.
