We thought we would give this cafe a try while in the area. We arrived to find you need to pay for parking but couldn't find prices. Went in and food looked good. Ordered two toasties and two lattes (bakewell flavour). The seating area was very messy food on the floor but we assumed maybe a group of kids had just been in. To be fair a lovely lady came and swept up shortly after. After quite a wait our food arrived, the toasties and the lattes were nice, while eating we checked our receipt and realised we had been overcharged on 3 out of 4 items. When we had finished eating we went up to the counter to check our receipt. A refund was given for the 2 lattes but we were told all toasties were now £5 despite signs saying one was £4.50 so we weren't immediately given a refund for the 50p overcharged. It's not a lot of money but we pointed to the signs on the cabinet and the wall showing £4.50. We were told they haven't had time to change the signs but the price was now £5. The lady very reluctantly then gave us the 50p. We were made to feel uncomfortable. We then went to pay for parking before we left. Price was £1.90 and we had been less than an hour. We were really hoping that this would be a nice cafe for us to use but left feeling quite unhappy so sadly won't be returning.
