Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. A lot of visitors say that the staff is courteous here. The terrific service displays a high level of quality at Parkside Diner. This was a very unique experience to say the least. I visited here yesterday as someone who’s happily dined here many times. When we walked in, we noticed a man who looked incredibly angry immediately in the front of the restaurant (seen in my second photo of the savory breakfast.) He was looking off at not only staff, but the customers in a way as if he was seeing red. Grinding his jaw, you get the gist. When I sat down, I then realized he was the owner, as he continued to shout and unprofessionally talk down to staff in front of the customers. He was talking about how the finances could be used for better things, how he needs to shorten staff because the work these ladies do could be done better by just a single person. I found it incredibly uncomfortable, unprofessional, unsettling. It made me want to leave almost immediately. He continued to groan and publicly talk down on staff, and I could see a worker start to even get emotional because of it. This is not the way a business should run. I wouldn’t come back again, not because of the service by the staff, they were on it and got us in and out fairly quick, but because of the owner, who doesn’t have the basic decency to handle his business in a professional manner. Spend your money elsewhere. Not worth it. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

The breakfast food was great . It really is the best homemade corned beef hash I've ever had. The server was very unfriendly and cold. Seemed like she was mad at the world The manager was loudly scolding and threatening someone. Very unprofessional! I had my back to them so I couldn't see the situation. If this is how management is, it's no wonder the servers are so miserable. I will come back in hopes that we get a better server. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20
