Terrible service, insulting comments and dishonesty. 1. We arrived at our Open Table reserved time and asked to be seated outside given that there were many available tables there. We were told No. We were also told that we should have selected an option for outdoor dining when making our reservation. But I did check and recheck, and there was no such option! Apparently, they lie as they go along. 2. We get seated and I tell the host (also the owner) that I plan to order a bottle of chardonnay but would like his recommendation as to which one is the most full bodied, heavy and dark colored. He tells me "there is no dark colored chardonnay". Apparently, the gentleman doesn't know that the more time the wine spends in oak barrel the darker it becomes. 3. He goes away and comes back with one glass (!). I tell him that I ordered a bottle. There are four of us in the party. He goes away and brings three more glasses of wine. I have no idea how long it spent in open bottles, but I don't complain, just don't want to ruin the evening. 4. I order a tuna appetizer as my main course. I am brought an avocado appetizer. When I do complain, they take it back and after an eternity bring me... their tuna entry!! Will never set foot in that place again. Oh, and the food is average and totally overpriced. Update: After this review was published the Parkside Grille owners set up "outside" and "inside" dining options, having changed the entire reservations page layout. Guess writing reviews works!
