Such a lively hidden gem! Staff were attentive enough, without being intrusive, but still fun. Delicious cocktails and wine by the glass - looking forward to our next night out in downtown Saskatoon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30

Really disappointing experience at Parlor. From the moment our group of five sat down, our server had a terrible attitude. She was unfriendly, dismissive, and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by being there. It was incredibly off-putting. The five of us were squeezed around a very small high-top table even though the place was only 1/3 full. After being there for over an hour, we asked if we could move to one of the two larger lounge seating areas that were completely empty. We were told no because both were “reserved” and that you needed at least six people to sit there. Another group of five who were also crammed around a small table actually tapped us on the shoulder to tell us they had asked the exact same thing and were also refused. They even told the server they had a sixth person joining them shortly, and the server suggested their additional guest could sit in the window sill. No joke. We stayed for approximately three hours, right up until just before they closed, and the two “reserved” lounge areas remained completely empty the entire night. I don’t understand the concept of holding the more comfortable seating areas for hypothetical future customers while the customers who are actually there, ordering and spending money, are uncomfortable. The two seating areas are nowhere near large enough that it would be a “waste” for a group of 5 to sit there. Beyond the seating issue, the overall attitude from the staff made the entire experience incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcoming. You truly feel like you’re inconveniencing them by being a customer. I had never heard particularly good things about Parlor and have heard the staff can be quite rude, and unfortunately I can see why now. None of the five of us will be back. Very poorly run establishment and, based on our experience, the customer service and attitude of the staff need serious, serious, improvement. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: $100+
